Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience in hydraulics, fabrication, machining, and testing? We are seeking a Test Technician to join our engineering team and play a key role in developing, evaluating, and improving innovative products. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced testing equipment, prototype products, and cross-functional engineering teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

As a Test Technician, you will support product development and validation activities by performing testing, fabricating components, and maintaining test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform product testing according to established procedures and provide detailed results to engineering teams.
  • Set up and operate servo-hydraulic testing equipment.
  • Fabricate parts, fixtures, and components needed for testing activities.
  • Record, document, and prepare test reports and data logs.
  • Inspect and verify calibration status of testing equipment prior to use.
  • Maintain hydraulic units, grease systems, fixtures, and testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair damaged test fixtures and components.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and testing procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and team members on product evaluation and development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety and quality.
Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Hydraulics
    • Machine shop operations
    • Fabrication
    • Welding
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience operating mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, and other machine shop equipment.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and layouts.
  • Basic welding and metal fabrication skills.
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with testing equipment and laboratory environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to safety.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally assist with loads up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working in a loud industrial setting.
