Position Title: HR Generalist
Wage: Based on Experience Our client, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking a HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations. This is a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite position in Browntown, WI reporting to the HR Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and who enjoys a variety of HR responsibilities, including payroll, recruiting, benefits administration, and employee support. HR Generalist Responsibilities: - Process weekly hourly payroll - Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records - Enter and update employee information within the HRIS system - Administer employee benefits, including insurance, and 401(k) enrollment and maintenance - Track and maintain employee performance reviews and evaluations - Manage attendance records and reporting - Maintain electronic records for benefits, safety training, and compliance requirements - Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard hourly employees - Conduct new hire orientations and assist with pre-employment processes - Support HR compliance activities and ensure adherence to state and federal employment laws - Assist with employee communications, training initiatives, and other HR-related programs Requirements for HR Generalist: - High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred - 2 years+ of HR-related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education - Experience processing payroll, preferably in a HRIS/payroll platform - Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based HR systems - Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly - Manufacturing HR experience is a plus IND345 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
