The Highlights: The Financial Aid Administrator, as part of the OFA Operations and Scholarship team, is responsible for reviewing and processing award program reports, student applicant eligibility and verification, scholarship and partnership discounts, and award revisions for institutional, federal, and state programs. This positions will also assist in reconciliation of institutional, state, federal and/or external loan and grant programs totaling more than $500M for up to 18,000 students per year. The administrator reports to the Associate Director of Operations and works independently to execute support processing for student applications, student follow-ups, award claims, payment processing, and maintaining efficient procedures for processing and reconciling aid. This position will also be responsible for incorporating new regulations into the application, award, and reconciliation process as needed and for collaborating with the OFA Student Services team to ensure efficient delivery of FA funds to students. What You'll Do: 1. Responsible for effectively managing application processing, comparing changes in application data, verification procedures, award and scholarship program information, and supporting other processes associated with the duties of the Verification, Loan and Scholarship team. 2. Work with closely with Operations and Scholarship teams to review and resolve student eligibility issues and award revisions. Develop and incorporate new regulations into the processes as needed. Communicate with student and possible outside parties to resolve student eligibility issues and verification. 3. Assists with responding to student emails and case management for FA Operations and Scholarships and across teams in OFA. Researches, resolves and effectively communicates responses to students. 4. Coordinate effective delivery of FA funds to students. Supports reconciliation of institutional, federal, state and/or external scholarship, loan and grant programs (crossing up to three fiscal years at a time) in compliance with all regulations governing those programs. What You'll Need: Participation in the administration of federal, state, institutional and private aid with aggregate dollars of programs involved exceed $500 million annually. * Bachelor's degree, required. The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $42,679 to $50,000. The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
