We are committed to providing whole person care, investing in your well-being, and enriching your career.Key Position Details: This Patient Financial Navigator (PFN) position is a shared FTE between St Francis Cancer Center and Allina Health Cancer Institute (AHCI). Join a team of 6 other PFNs, educating patients about their health coverage, and securing manufacturer copay assistance, foundation assistance programs, and free drug options to ease the financial burden of cancer treatment upon our patients. This position will be hybrid, with some in person time at St Francis Cancer Center and possibly other AHCI sites.
Job Description: Assists patients and/or families with access to a variety of financial resources by evaluating the financial situation of patients in accordance with regulatory compliance while maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity. Determines eligibility for financial assistance or any payer/assistance source, and provides necessary assistance to enroll in available government programs. The Patient Financial Navigator should be knowledgeable about related medical terminology and treatment processes as well as payment alternatives, grants, programs, and any other types of assistance to educate and support patients facing costly treatments and extended medical care.

Pay Range Pay Range: $24.62 to $33.74 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.Allina Health is committed to adhering with all applicable local, state and federal minimum wage requirements.
