Allied Universal is hiring a Senior Training Coordinator.

We're seeking a Senior Training Coordinator to drive exceptional training programs, develop security professionals, and support a culture of excellence.

Position Summary

The Senior Training Coordinator is responsible for owning and executing a comprehensive security training program across multiple locations. This role ensures training consistency, quality, and operational readiness through structured instruction, exercises, and ongoing program maintenance. The position serves as the central point of coordination for security drills and training activities, working in alignment with operational stakeholders to ensure exercises are realistic, wellexecuted, and actionable. This is a highimpact individual contributor role requiring prior experience managing a comparable training program. Limited travel is required to support program needs.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training Program Ownership & Execution

    Own and manage a standardized security training program across assigned locations
  • Ensure training content, delivery, and cadence are consistent, documented, and sustainable
  • Maintain oversight of training schedules, materials, certifications, and completion tracking
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for security training initiatives and exercises

Drills & Exercises

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute security drills and scenariobased exercises
  • Ensure drills are structured, communicated effectively, and completed with minimal operational disruption
  • Facilitate postexercise reviews and track followup actions or improvements
  • Incorporate lessons learned into updated training materials and guidance

Instruction & Delivery

  • Deliver instructorled training, tabletop sessions, and operational briefings as needed
  • Support onboarding, refresher, and rolespecific training for security personnel
  • Validate training effectiveness through observation, feedback, and performance during exercises

Stakeholder Coordination (NonSupervisory)

  • Coordinate training activities with operations and program stakeholders
  • Ensure training efforts align with established response procedures and operational expectations
  • Provide subjectmatter guidance without direct supervisory authority
  • Identify trends, gaps, or risks and elevate them appropriately

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and certifications
  • Support internal and client reviews related to training and readiness
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and readiness metrics as required

Field & Site Support

  • Travel periodically to support onsite training, drills, and program rollout
  • Conduct sitelevel assessments focused on training execution and preparedness
  • Provide actionable feedback to Operations regarding readiness and execution quality

Role Scope & Structure

  • Individual contributor (no direct reports)
  • Highautonomy role with enterpriselevel visibility
  • Reports to Operations or Security Program leadership

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Prior experience owning or managing a security training or operational training program
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating drills or structured exercises in an operational environment
  • Strong understanding of security operations and incident response fundamentals
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of judgment and accountability
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
  • Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients.
  • Ability to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations is required.
  • Highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Approximately 10-20% travel, as needed to support approved training, drills, audits, and site initiatives
  • Approved travel associated with this role is billed in accordance with program and client requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Experience supporting multisite security operations
  • Background in corporate security, contract security, or operational training environments
  • Experience working with SOPs, post orders, and standardized procedures
  • Experience in security operations or other functions of security industry

PAY:

  • $90,000 - $95,000 / year
