Gotta Go is expanding, and we're looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our team as a Floater Driver. In this essential role, you will cover pump, roll-off, trailer delivery, and/or P&D routes as needed when other drivers are absent. You may also fill in on the yard, including moving units, equipment, supplies, and other merchandise from one location to another. Or perhaps you will complete minor maintenance on trailers and toilets or complete additional projects when slow. We are looking for a total Utility Player!
MUST have a CLASS D License!
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cover pump, trailer delivery and/or P&D routes as needed when drivers are absent.
- Ensure units returned to yard are in good, working condition, including brand stickers, cleaned, and all repairs.
- Facilitate last minute deliveries, pick-ups and services, some after-hours emergent deliveries, and services.
- Meet all safety standards by abiding by all transportation laws, company policies, and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Oversee special event deliveries and execution.
- Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair units and facilities.
- Ensure yard and facility are clean (no rivets, trash, etc.), organized, and secured before leaving.
- Empty holding tanks, including clean and disinfect areas affected by sewer or septic.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Clean driving record
- 3years of driving experience
- Availability nights and weekends
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to drive safely.
- Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
- Ability to plan delivery routes and adjust as business needs dictate.
- Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
- Able to remain professional and courteous at all times.
Education and Experience
- Valid driver's license and 3 yrs. and clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years old
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift upto75pounds regularly.
- Must be able to load and unload units with and without dollies in various types of weather.
- Able to handle strong odors.
