Respiratory Therapist

Hudson Hospital Respiratory Therapists are group of collaborative professionals that work in partnership with the patient care team in the development, modification, and implementation of the respiratory care plan.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll provide safe, evidence-based respiratory and cardiopulmonary care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You'll assess, treat, monitor, and evaluate patients with cardiopulmonary conditions, respond to emergencies, and partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. All Respiratory Therapists provide inpatient care and are cross-trained in outpatient services, including pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehabilitation, and durable medical equipment.

Work schedule: On-call/Casual, Day Shift

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory care program

• NBRC credentialed as a CRT or RRT

• Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license

• Current BLS certification

• ACLS and NRP within 3 months of hire

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and computer skills

• Ability to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of ICU experience

• NICU experience

• PALS certification

• Epic experience
