OVERVIEW:
The role of the Social Services Coordinator is to maintain a highly efficient front office and be a good representation of The Salvation Army to all clients who seek assistance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Be the first point of contact for all clients
* Maintain files up to date
* Maintain Wellsky data entry
* Assess client needs and schedule appointments
* Screen clients for various Salvation Army programs and complete applications
* Prepare food bags, including bagging dry goods
* Oversee donated items
* Collect Brown Bag breakfast sign-in sheets and input data in WellSky
* Prepare statistical reports monthly
* Assist with seasonal social services events
* Act as backup support to enter grants & contracts for weekly finance meetings
* Assist with emergency and disaster services work
* Attend meetings and trainings
* Shop for supplies at the Foodbank
* Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or equivalent (required)
* CA driver's license (required)
