The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager supporting Hitachi Energy's North America Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) business within Grid Integration, you will play a key role in delivering large, complex EPC projects that help improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. This position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, operating on a hybrid work schedule, and full relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. In this role, you will manage projects from contract award through commercial operation, coordinating cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals related to schedule, budget, quality, and safety. You will guide project execution planning, financial performance, risk management, contract administration, procurement coordination, customer engagement, and project closeout activities. This is an opportunity to work on energy storage projects serving a range of applications, including utility-scale and behind-the-meter deployments, while expanding your experience within a growing segment of the power industry. Your contributions will directly support reliable grid operations, energy transition initiatives, and the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects that shape the future of the power system.
