Employment Opportunity


Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking experienced security professionals to join our team as GSOC Supervisors supporting a Global Security Operations Center in Warren, Michigan.


The GSOC Supervisor leads Analysts and Operators during an assigned shift within a 24/7/365 Global Security Operations Center. The Supervisor is responsible for shift readiness, service quality, incident escalation, workflow compliance, and communication with security and fire leadership while providing real-time operational decision-making, coaching, quality assurance, and workforce oversight.


This is a full-time position supporting a 24/7/365 security operation. Candidates must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.

Duties:



  • Provide direct shift supervision, work direction, coaching, and operational support to GSOC Analysts and Operators
  • Confirm shift coverage, post readiness, system status, pass-down information, priority events, and outstanding follow-up items
  • Ensure personnel follow approved SOPs, post orders, escalation paths, incident classifications, response playbooks, and documentation standards
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for incidents exceeding Analyst-level authority, complexity, severity, or business impact
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with site security leaders, fire/EHS partners, facilities teams, external responders, and account leadership
  • Oversee dispatch and incident-management activities across multiple locations
  • Maintain situational awareness through incident resolution
  • Conduct quality checks and audits of calls, event records, incident reports, shift logs, dispatch activity, and system usage
  • Review, edit, and approve operational documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity
  • Support onboarding, refresher training, drills, coaching, and comprehension/retention testing
  • Provide objective employee performance feedback and address performance or process concerns
  • Assist with system disruptions and operational continuity procedures
  • Prepare shift summaries, metrics, trend observations, and after-action information for leadership
  • Direct personnel during urgent and high-impact incidents while maintaining composure and policy compliance

Qualifications

Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant professional training preferred
  • 3+ years of experience preferred in a security operations center, emergency communications, dispatch, public safety, corporate security, or comparable operational environment
  • 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience preferred, including responsibility for coaching, task assignment, quality assurance, or incident escalation
  • Demonstrated ability to direct personnel during urgent or high-impact events while maintaining composure, accuracy, and policy compliance
  • Experience with access control, CCTV/video management, alarm monitoring, incident/case management, mass notification, and related security technology platforms preferred
  • Strong report-review, analytical, conflict-resolution, and professional communication skills
  • Valid Michigan guard card or registration, as required for the assignment
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, or ability to obtain and maintain certification before assignment
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently and produce clear, concise, and accurate incident reports
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint as relevant to the position
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a 24/7/365 operation, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require
  • Ability to complete ongoing training and required comprehension and retention testing
