Background & Purpose of the Job:
Support the VP Finance & Controlling North America in the financial management of the business by delivering financial analysis, reporting, and planning activities across the region. The role is responsible for coordinating budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and WSE processes; analyzing sales, margins, costs, and working capital; monitoring key strategic initiatives; and preparing financial reporting for Continental Management, Senior Management, and Group Management. The position also supports the consolidation of financial statements, preparation of monthly financial packages, and response to Group reporting requests while providing guidance to Market Business Controllers and General Managers on financial reporting requirements. In addition, the role contributes to the development of financial strategic and tactical data through the consolidation of budgets, forecasts, latest estimates, and strategic plans, and by conducting profitability analyses on projected commercial operations. As a key user of Group reporting tools (GPS, QlikView, and BOARD), the role helps ensure compliance with reporting requirements by training users, communicating reporting rules and procedures, and supporting the implementation of reporting enhancements. The position also coordinates Internal Control Management (ICM) and audit activities for the North America region, supports Continental Finance meetings, and may assist with other finance-related activities, including credit management, accounting, treasury, legal, internal control, and tax. Who You Are & What You'll Do: Group Reporting/day-to-day support:
- Prepare the Continental Monthly Reporting : Letter of the Month, D+2 & D+8: turnover, gross margin, margin variance analysis, expenses, working capital/cash, vs . LY & vs. Budget
- Weekly sales forecast consolidation
- Reporting for CODIR presentation by the Continent
- Provide Assistance to Continental MANCOM
Strategy & tactical (Budgeting / forecasting/ Reactivity plans/OS/profitability analysis):
- Coordinate the budget and reforecasting processes for net sales and gross margin with the market controllers
- Relay Group Budget instructions to the markets
- Help in elaborating operational plan in case of reactivity plans ( cost savings, cost freeze, other reorg)
- Contribute to prepare reforecasts (3+9, 5+7, 8+4..) and Budget package for the Continent
- Consolidate marketing plans & prepare OS Financial data
- Perform some profitability analysis at the Continent level (Customer, product line, impact of exchange rate fluctuations, rolling 12M data...) on request by Continental management either prospective or retrospective.
Improve knowledge of Group financial procedures:
- Perform local training session for GPS users under the supervision & guidance of SVP Finance NA
- Determine & validate reporting treatments of certain non standard operations under the guidance of SVP Finance NA ( new flows )
- Communicate & explain new group reporting procedure and process
- Key interlocutor for management of NA master data in GPS: Article, customer, cost center, PRSC, MLA ...)
Ah Hoc Projects
- Contribute and/or lead specific Projects for Continent NA or trans-continental
What You'll Need to Succeed:
BS in management Accounting or Business admin.; MBA preferred 5-7 years experience in accounting/controlling. Very good analytical skills and capacity to perform concise synthesis A capacity to communicate well and autonomously in an international and multi-cultural context Expertise in Excel, database management and quick learner Reliable and accurate Able to coordinate/lead process execution across dispersed markets and influence other leaders SAP and GPS knowledge is a plus Potential for and interest in advancement to market controller position

Compensation: Salary range of $120,000-135,000 commensurate with experience.
