Vernon, CT \| ProHealth Physicians (Optum) ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking an experienced Family Medicine-trained Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its primary care team in Vernon, Connecticut. Position Highlights Full-time primary care role with a physician-led, patient-centered care team Family Medicine focus with pediatric patient care comfort preferred Optional call and moderate scheduling templates supporting work-life balance and scheduling flexibility Structured onboarding and mentorship program for ongoing success and development Loan repayment support, CME allowance, retirement package, bonus incentives, and APC partnership opportunities for eligible providers Required Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current, unrestricted Connecticut NP or PA license, or ability to obtain prior to start FNP certification through ANCC/AANP or PA certification through NCCPA Unrestricted DEA license or willingness to obtain before employment begins Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 - $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
