Key Responsibilities

Administer MISO's legal technology tools, including support for the legal document management system and participation in new technology selection and implementation.
Support legal risk identification and mitigation across business operations.
Manage relationships with external vendors, such as law firms and legal service providers, to ensure quality, costeffective legal services.
Collect, analyze, and present legal operations data to support reporting, decisionmaking, and process improvement.
Coordinate and projectmanage legal matters, ensuring aligned communication, deadline tracking, and crossfunctional engagement.
Maintain and analyze legal department budgets, including forecasting and identifying costsaving

What We're Looking For

BS/BA degree (Legal Studies or related field preferred).
* 2+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, or a related function.
* Strong organizational, project management, and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comfort learning new technologies.
* Experience with legal billing systems, document management tools, and budgeting processes is desirable.
* Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Interest or foundational understanding of AI technologies and platforms.

What Success Looks Like
Within one year, you will independently manage MISO's corporate controlled document program and legal ebilling platform, contribute meaningfully to Legal Department initiatives, and build strong crossdepartmental relationships that enhance the effectiveness of our legal operations.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $73,000-$98,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
