Brint Ryan College of Business, is centered on the world's largest consumer-focused industries-Hospitality and Retail. Our nationally ranked and accredited programs offer opportunities for students to work with world-class research faculty as well as meet industry professionals who serve as guest lecturers, project mentors, and internship supervisors. These constituents play a key role in strengthening our ability to provide extraordinary experiences for our students. Position Overview The person in this position is responsible for performing public relations functions as well as delivering great customer service. The customers in this unit are the School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management Director, Staff, Chairs, Faculty and External constituencies including internal and external guests that enter the SMHM Director's suite. It is necessary for the person in this position to be flexible in multitasking and changing from task to another quickly. Interruptions of scheduled work may occur; thus, flexibility is necessary to accomplish the work in a timely manner. The person in this position must be able to organize work based on priorities established by the School Director. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma and three years of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
