Pricing Analyst

Mansfield Service Partners is looking for a Pricing Analyst for our Houston, TX location.

Description

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for assisting the sales team in making pricing decisions. The role will analyze pricing strategies across our customer base, coordinate bids on new customer prospects, and maintain vendor cost and customer pricing setups in both the ERP and customer quoting systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with sales representatives and sales leadership on suggested pricing for new customer prospects
• Perform analysis of pricing strategies across various markets, customer verticals, and lines of business
• Calculate and submit bids in a portal for certain LTL and FTL freight-only prospects
• Maintain pricing, discount, and rebate strategies in the ERP system and quoting system including existing setups, new customers, new locations, and mass changes
• Maintain vendor cost setups in the ERP system

Position Requirements

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience with pricing or sales operations in the wholesale fuel and/or lubricants industries
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience maintaining customer pricing strategies in Axxis or similar customer quoting system
• Experience maintaining customer pricing strategies and/or vendor costs in PDI Enterprise or similar ERP system
• Experience with D1 connect or similar bidding portal

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage progress on multiple simultaneous tasks and projects
• Ability to take ownership of a process and execute with strong attention to detail

Work Environment

• 40-hour on-site work week
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
