Position Title: Delivery and Program Operations Business Manager Location: Remote (within the U.S.) Other Considerations: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Required) POSITION SUMMARY Sprezzatura is seeking a Delivery and Program Operations Business Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for tracking Delivery strategic goals and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), building and managing budgets, evaluating options and costs, and serving as the connector between Delivery teams and Integrated Operations shared services, flagging risks and decisions that need leadership attention. This is a hands-on role for a highly organized, resourceful professional who owns the business side of Delivery so leaders can focus on clients and execution. RESPONSIBILITIES Delivery Leadership and Program Support
- Manage and coordinate calendars for Delivery leadership, including client meetings, program reviews, leadership sessions, and other priority engagements
- Coordinate logistics, invitations, attendee communications, and materials for client-facing meetings, program reviews, and Delivery leadership sessions
- Track action items and follow-ups from Delivery leadership and program meetings through to completion
- Plan and coordinate travel for Delivery leaders and staff, including air, hotel, ground transportation, itineraries, and related logistics for leadership meetings
- Respond to time-sensitive Delivery requests and scheduling changes, keeping leaders focused on clients and execution
Strategic Goals and OKR Tracking
- Maintain the tracking framework for Delivery strategic goals and OKRs, aligned with company-wide objectives set by the COO and executive team
- Collect progress updates from Delivery and program leaders on a regular cadence and keep key results, owners, and due dates current
- Prepare OKR status summaries and dashboards for the VP of Integrated Operations and Delivery leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and off-track items
- Coordinate quarterly OKR reviews and planning sessions and track resulting decisions and action items through to completion
Delivery Communication and All-Hands
- Own end-to-end coordination of Delivery All-Hands meetings, including scheduling, calendar invitations, reminders, and meeting logistics
- Partner with Marketing and Recruiting on meeting recording and post-meeting editing, and coordinate posting of recordings and presentation decks
- Manage Delivery group communications and distribution lists, ensuring staff on client sites or outside standard distribution groups still receive important Delivery and company information
- Manage reminder emails and follow-up communications related to All-Hands meetings and posted materials
Integrated Operations Coordination
- Serve as a day-to-day connector between Delivery teams and Integrated Operations shared services
- Route Delivery requests to the right shared-services owner and follow up to keep items from stalling
- Support Integrated Operations standards by applying consistent processes, templates, and checklists to recurring Delivery operations work
- Flag recurring operational friction points to the VP of Integrated Operations with recommended improvements
Offsites, Client Events, and Engagement
- Plan and execute Delivery leadership offsites, client events, team gatherings, and employee engagement activities from concept through completion
- Manage venue, hotel, food and beverage, transportation, activity, attendee, and scheduling details for each event
- Coordinate vendors, quotes, contracts, deposits, schedules, and event deliverables
- Anticipate and resolve issues or changes as they arise so events run smoothly
Business Operations and Analysis
- Provide financial oversight for assigned Delivery initiatives, offsites, events, travel, and related spending
- Develop events and engagement budgets and track spending against plan, reporting status to the VP of Integrated Operations and Delivery leadership
- Review vendor pricing, proposals, contracts, invoices, deposits, and final billing for accuracy and overall value
- Compare options and present leadership with cost, logistics, and value tradeoffs and a recommended path forward
- Identify unexpected costs, budget risks, and potential savings early, escalating with recommended solutions rather than problems alone
- Identify missing information, follow up on outstanding items, and resolve discrepancies to keep processing on time
General Business Support
- Step into undefined or time-sensitive needs and determine the right next steps, resources, or contacts to move the issue forward
- Handle additional requests and special projects based on changing Delivery and business needs
- Identify opportunities to streamline recurring administrative work using AI tools and automation
- Support timesheet administration for Delivery staff, tracking submissions, following up on outstanding items, and reviewing and approving timesheets as authorized
- Coordinate spot bonus requests for Delivery staff and related approval and processing requirements
- Order and coordinate gifts, flowers, and recognition items for employees, clients, and business partners
- Plan and manage Delivery team holiday gifts, including sourcing, ordering, tracking, and distribution
- Support client and employee engagement activities and related communications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree with experience considered in lieu of a degree
- 7+ years of progressive experience in delivery operations, business operations, program or project management, or a related operations role partnering with senior leaders
- Proven experience planning and managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives such as leadership offsites and client events, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting
- Demonstrated experience building and managing budgets, analyzing costs against plan, and ensuring financial accuracy and accountability
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate options, weigh cost, risk, and value, and make clear recommendations to leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and familiarity with enterprise business systems such as Deltek Costpoint and ADP
- Comfort using AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and scale operations
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential business, financial, and personnel information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and coordinate across Delivery, Integrated Operations, clients, and vendors
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting delivery or program teams in a federal government contracting environment, ideally on Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) programs
- Familiarity with federal contractor business practices, including cost tracking and compliance in a Costpoint environment
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) or Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other federal clearance as required
WORKING CONDITIONS Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting on days working remote. PAY RANGE The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 annually, depending on geographic work location, relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, security clearance, and contract requirements. Geographic salary ranges are determined in accordance with the company's compensation practices and represent a good-faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
