Job Description
What will you do as a Strategic Customer Account Project Specialist at Sealed Air?

As a Strategic Customer Account Project Specialist, you'll play a key role in building strong relationships with Sealed Air's strategic national accounts while supporting sales growth and customer satisfaction. You'll apply your knowledge of animal, meat, food, or packaging science to support the development of new products and processes, including multi-layer polymer films, packaging equipment, and automation for the meat processing industry. You'll work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges, deliver solutions, and manage projects from development through implementation.

Responsibilities
Why do we need you?

  • Serve as a key customer contact, building relationships across R&D, Procurement, Marketing, Engineering, and other customer functions while understanding and addressing their needs.
  • Partner with Sales to identify new business opportunities and support strategies that drive growth across new and existing accounts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Build strong knowledge of Sealed Air's products, services, and technical capabilities to communicate their value and provide effective technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Front-End Innovation, Portfolio, Customer Service, Field Quality, Regional Sales, and other teams to address customer-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and successfully implemented.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously by tracking progress, identifying risks, resolving issues, and keeping priorities on track.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and customer communications

Qualifications
What do you need to succeed?

  • Knowledge of the food industry, particularly the meat processing sector; plant experience is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of food, meat, animal, or packaging science and its application to products and processes.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise information for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects with limited supervision.
  • Project management or research skills, including prioritization, multitasking, risk identification, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and attend industry events as needed
