Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Trip Intake Corrections Support

Location: Remote on On-Site, United States

(this position is bonus eligible)

Hourly Compensation: $16

Schedule: Full-Time, Mo-Fr

Job Summary
The Trip Intake Corrections Support representative is an entry-level administrative support role in the air ambulance billing department. The position performs clerical, data entry, document management, customer service, and account maintenance duties while supporting billing staff and management. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn healthcare revenue cycle processes.

Essential Functions/ Duties
* Verify and upload/remove patient medical records to/from multiple systems.
* Enter accounts into the billing system.
* Enter dispatch records into the billing system.
* Maintain accurate account records and document all billing activity in company systems.
* Review accounts for missing information and notify the appropriate staff.
* Participate in required team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications
Required Experience:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
* Strong organization, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Experience:
* Experience in administrative support, customer service, call center operations, data entry, healthcare, billing, or insurance
* Basic knowledge of medical billing, health insurance, or revenue cycle processes

Education:
* High School Diploma or GED, or significant relevant work experience

Skills and Competencies:
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, office equipment, and data entry systems
* Strong organization, attention to detail, and recordkeeping skills
* Clear written and verbal communication with a strong customer service focus
* Ability to review account information, identify missing details, and maintain accurate documentation
* Ability to protect confidential patient and billing information and use sound judgment
* Ability to learn healthcare billing processes, payer requirements, and company systems while working independently or as part of a team
