Assistant Plant Superintendent

Primary Responsibilities:

The Plant Superintendent Assistant will help with all production activities within the facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing performance. This role helps to ensure product quality and strong alignment with company goals.

Specific Assistant Duties:

*Assist all plant production to achieve operational targets.
*Ensure a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety policies, training, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
*Help manage production schedules and material flow to meet customer and project requirements.
*Help with initiatives focused on reducing downtime and optimizing processes.
*Collaborate with leadership to resolve production issues and support organizational goals.
*Support training, coaching, and development of plant personnel to build strong, capable teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

*Production management experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication, industrial processing, or similar plant environments.
*Background in supervising production teams, managing workflows.
*Ability to optimize processes and achieve operational performance targets.
*Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality to support reliable and efficient plant operations.
*Possess strong computer skills and proficiency with relevant software programs.
* Adapt quickly to sudden changes in workflow.
