Schedule/Shift: Full-time, onsite; 9/80 schedule

Job Summary

The Aerospace Manufacturing Technician supports the hands-on fabrication and assembly of precision components used in aerospace and spacecraft manufacturing. The role focuses on adhesive and silicone bonding, mechanical assembly, trimming, cleaning, surface preparation, and working from engineering drawings and detailed manufacturing instructions. The technician will also support equipment setup, inspection, rework, documentation, and production troubleshooting while following established safety and quality procedures.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform hands-on manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and bonding operations.
  • Apply adhesives and silicones according to established manufacturing procedures.
  • Perform trimming, cleaning, surface preparation, and other precision manufacturing processes.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and production process adjustments.
  • Perform rework, inspection support, testing, and quality-related manufacturing activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot production issues and improve processes.
  • Accurately document completed work and maintain required production records.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.


Job Requirements



  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, fabrication, or assembly.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with adhesive bonding, adhesives, or silicone bonding.
  • Ability to perform precision manufacturing processes such as trimming, cleaning, and surface preparation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
  • Ability to work onsite in Oxnard, CA.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Aerospace, defense, spacecraft, composites, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on production or process issues preferred.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Full-time, onsite position in Oxnard, CA.
  • 9/80 work schedule totaling 40 hours per week; exact shift hours are to be determined.
