The Opportunity

The Predictive Insights team is expanding its technical capabilities to support business growth and improve asset performance. Using tools such as AVEVA PI, AWS, reporting and analytics platforms, and appropriate machine learning applications, the team helps predict, identify, and prevent asset failures.

This role sits within Asset Applications, a small, technical, high-performing team that partners with Real-Time Monitoring and Applications and other asset performance groups. It offers growth, exposure, and mentorship for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of operations, data, and technology.

As a Business Analyst on the Predictive Insights team, this role connects operational needs with technology delivery by translating business requirements, data needs, and process challenges into practical application, reporting, and analytics solutions. Serving as a senior liaison between business stakeholders and Asset Applications, the role supports analysis, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of solutions aligned to business objectives.

The role leads complex initiatives, documents requirements, evaluates process improvements, supports delivery from concept through implementation, and partners with business leaders, product owners, developers, vendors, and project teams to deliver quality solutions. It also supports data flows, semantic data models, dashboards, reports, ad hoc data requests, testing, data governance, change management, and adoption.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, comfortable with technical and operational stakeholders, and able to translate complex needs into actionable requirements that support safe, reliable, and efficient asset performance.

  • Partner with technical teams on scalable application, integration, reporting, data mapping, interface, and API-based solutions.
  • Coordinate test planning, test case development, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
