Data Analyst (Remote)

Location: Remote (Must Reside in Washington, DC)
Pay Rate: $25.67 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support a high-performing team in a fully remote environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with data, identifying trends, creating reports, and supporting business operations through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with team members and stakeholders in a professional remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support operational and business decisions.
  • Monitor data quality and identify discrepancies or trends.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Interpret data findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data and reporting needs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications Required
  • Must be a current resident of Washington, DC.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, customer support analytics, administrative operations, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
  • Experience working in healthcare, government, customer service, or administrative support environments.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
