Description Electrical Assembly Technician

We are looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our Generator Manufacturing Division. This is an opportunity to use your electrical skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment while learning and working with custom-built generator systems. Job Summary The Electrical Assembly Technician is responsible for the assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical control boxes, panels, and custom wire harnesses used in generator systems. This position requires the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams and use a variety of electrical hand tools and test equipment. The technician will work closely with Production and Engineering to build assemblies to specification, support engineering changes and prototypes, and ensure finished products meet Central Power's quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with electrical systems, and takes pride in building a quality product. Responsibilities

Work Conditions This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting 50+ pounds. The position may require working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels. The work environment is industrial and may include exposure to welding fumes, sparks, heat, smoke, dust, noise, moving equipment, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety procedures are required. This list is not intended to cover every possible scenario.
