Job Summary Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and analytical dashboards to support federal program planning, execution, and stakeholder decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling: Build budget, cost, and "what-if" scenario models to assess funding and scope changes.
- Analysis & Tracking: Monitor budgets, forecasts, and actuals to identify variances, trends, and accruals.
- Reporting & Reviews: Prepare dashboards and briefings using Excel, Power BI, and financial systems.
- Program Support: Assist with budget formulation, period-end reconciliations, and multi-source data reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business (or 15 years of equivalent experience).
- Experience: 10+ years in financial management/federal budgeting, including 5+ years focused on financial analysis and modeling.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and data analysis; proficiency across MS Office and database management.
- Core Capabilities: Strong written/oral communication; knowledge of the Congressional budget process; ability to work independently or in teams with high professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Systems: Experience with financial accounting platforms (OneStream, Oracle) and visualization tools (Power BI, Cobra, Tableau).
- Leadership: Executive-level experience managing large, multi-appropriation, multi-contract financial programs.
