A Taste of What You'll Do

Join GALLO as an Electrical Operations Leader and help shape a safe, high-performing production environment. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide and develop a skilled electrical work team responsible for installing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production machinery and electrical systems. You will create the conditions for your team to succeed by setting clear priorities, supporting growth, and fostering a workplace where every team member is valued and empowered to contribute.

You will lead day-to-day shift operations while driving results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer service. Partnering closely with engineering and cross-functional teams, you will improve equipment reliability, enhance PLC controls, execute assigned capital projects, and identify opportunities to strengthen standard work and material-handling practices. You will champion lean tools and visual-factory principles to make work safer, simpler, and more effective.

This role is ideal for a collaborative, people-centered leader who can engage others, enlist resources, envision improvements, and execute meaningful change. You will facilitate team meetings, support staffing and budget needs, communicate organizational priorities, and serve as an influential liaison across the operation. You will also help design and deliver training for team members with varying levels of experience.

A commitment to behavioral-based safety, food safety, GMPs, quality, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance is essential. You will ensure policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently while continuously evaluating how systems can better support efficient, inclusive, and reliable operations. What You'll Need



  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of technical production/operations or technical maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of technical production/operations or technical maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to work an off-shift (swing or graveyard) when scheduled.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Required to occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.



How You'll Stand Out



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 7 years of production or operations or technical maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Experience working in a consumer product goods environment.
  • Robotic-specific maintenance experience.
  • Experience leading high performance work teams and providing motivation to achieve plan goals.
  • Demonstrates team building, leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience applying LEAN methodology.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience working with Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and establishing sound maintenance procedures to assure equipment reliability.
  • Experience working with or around motors, gearboxes, chain drive units, conveyors, stretch wrappers, palletizers, etc.
  • Experience using technical skills to troubleshoot issues and understand requirements to complete repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Excel at an intermediate level, MS Word and PowerPoint at a basic level.
  • Skilled in applying advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
  • Skilled in applying mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Experience carrying out assignments that are broad and difficult in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in the area of specialization.

  • We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
  • This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
