Infection Preventionist (RN)

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | Days - 8 hours per shift

Pay Range: $38.87 - 52.75 per hour, depending on experience

The Difference You'll Make

Help keep our residents, staff, and community safe! We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Infection Prevention & Control Program. In this role, you'll monitor infection trends, drive prevention strategies, educate staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote best practices that improve resident outcomes.

-Lead and coordinate the facility's Infection Prevention & Control Program.

-Track, analyze, and report healthcare-associated infection (HAI) data.

-Conduct investigations, root cause analyses, and develop action plans.

-Oversee infection prevention policies, procedures, and antibiotic stewardship efforts.

-Monitor compliance with PPE, isolation precautions, and other infection control protocols.

-Educate and train staff on infection prevention best practices.

-Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

-Serve as a trusted resource for infection prevention across the organization.

Qualifications

-Current Minnesota RN license in good standing.

-Training, certification, or experience in Infection Prevention and Control.

-Experience with infection control management and risk management.

-Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to interpret data and implement evidence-based practices.

Preferred

-CIC certification (or willingness to obtain).

-2+ years of long-term care experience.

-Experience with PointClickCare.
