This opportunity is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities: Operate shredding and chipping equipment to process recyclable materials. Manually move and handle heavy materials safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Attend all scheduled shifts and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality Experience Requirements Entry-level position; no prior experience required. Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, or production environments is a plus. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Must pass a 5-panel drug screen and 7-year background check (no felonies accepted). Physical Capabilities Ability to push, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to work safely in an active recycling and processing environment. Must wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots and appropriate work attire. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
