Commercial Real Estate Loan Specialist I/II,III

The responsibilities of this job are to assist two or more Real Estate Commercial Lenders in day-to-day relationship management tasks to ensure overall department goals are met and contribute positively to the department's cohesiveness and spirit of cooperation.

Provide administrative support for the department.
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers & CRE Loan Specialist in gathering information to open new deposit accounts, including Beneficial Ownership Certification information.
• Order credit reports.
• Disburse loan advances and process payments.
• Collect and review documentation for accuracy and compliance prior to submission for processing.
• Interface with other departments including branch personnel, Loan Operations, Wire Transfer, Treasury Services, Mail Distribution, Trust, Compliance, the Legal Department and Closing Attorney's.
• Assisting customers with general banking functions (post close) as needed including transferring funds, wires, and balancing checking accounts.
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients, internally and externally.
• Associates are expected to perform all additional duties as assigned.

Commercial Real Estate Loan Specialist I

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year Retail or other banking experience.
• Knowledge of opening deposit accounts
• Knowledge of payment processing
• Due to the critical element of customer exposure, the preferred associate must demonstrate excellent customer service ability in addition to each of the following:

Excellent interpersonal skills

Organizational skills

Effective communication skills(verbal and written)

Good time management skills

MUST be able to exercise confidentiality with sensitive information.

Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills

MUST be able to exercise confidentiality with sensitive information

• Commercial lending experience preferred
• FIS preferred

Commercial Real Estate Loan Specialist II

• Associate's degree OR equilvalnt job-related experience(including documentation, customer contact, loan closing, etc)
• 2 years retail banking knowledge including product knowledge and sales skills
• Knowledge of commercial real estate collateral, security documentation, lien perfection requirement, and loan compliance regulations
• Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and commercial loan software preferred
• Knowledge of commercial real estate loan documentation preferred

Commercial Real Estate Loan Specialist III

• Associate's degree OR equilvalnt job-related experience(including documentation, customer contact, loan closing, etc)
• 2 years Real Estate Assistant II, CRE Loan Specialist II or equivalent experience
• Retail banking knowledge including product knowledge and sales skills
• Knowledge of commercial real estate collateral, security documentation, lien perfection requirement, and loan compliance regulations
• Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and commercial loan software preferred
• Experience with FIS/IBS Insight, ALS and Ncino

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse requiring hand and wrist manipulation, while viewing computer screens.
