Position Title: Electrical Engineer
Wage: $75,000 - $95,000/year We have an immediate opening for an Electronical Engineer. At our client in Davenport, IA, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for handling all electrical design work, including the development of electrical schematics, programming of PLCs, printed circuit board design and creation of Engineering Bills of Material. They will work closely with Mechanical Engineering, Sales, Purchasing and Production to ensure the company is able to deliver quality equipment to our customers. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: - Generate and maintain system schematics, panel layouts, item specifications, and engineering bills of materials - Process Design Change Notices (DCN's) to document and communicate changes - Ensure control panels comply with UL508a requirements - Maintain UL508a MTR certification - Work with Sales and Mechanical Engineering develop custom equipment proposals - Manage the design of our circuit boards and work with board builders to address any component supply issues - Read and analyze component and system schematics and prints - Communicate with customers and vendors via phone and/or e-mail - Interact with and supporting Sales, Mechanical Engineering, Service and Production team Requirements for Electrical Engineer: - 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience - Printed Circuit Board design experience and ability to properly specify and diagnose board mounted components - PLC programming experience, preferably AB and OMRON - Ability to develop electrical schematics - Knowledge of electrical control standards - Willing to travel up to 15% - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot legacy systems - Ability to operate soldering iron and electrical test equipment - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally - Ability to function in an industrial manufacturing setting IND345 Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has the resources of a large company but the feel and personalized customer service of a small one.
