ADJUNCT FACULTY POSITION

Department of Radiation Oncology, University of California, San Francisco

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor in the Adjunct Professorial series (non-tenure track). Salary and title will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and training.

A strong track record researching the molecular drivers of prostate cancer pathogenesis, and mechanisms that contribute to disease progression and metastasis. Additionally, successful applicants are expected to demonstrate excellence in CRISPER and small molecule screening and associated bioinformatic analyses. PhD, MD, EdD or equivalent academic doctoral degree is required at the time of hire. Applicant's CV must state (pending) degree requirement upon application submission.

Teaching duties for this position will be minimal. The successful candidate is expected to develop an independent area of scholarly work. Research experience (including a record of publications) in the field of prostate cancer and biomarker development is desirable.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $112,500-$176,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
