Position description

Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor - Department of Neurological Surgery

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are particularly interested in neurosurgeon candidates with clinical and academic research interests (basic or translational in focus) in spine surgery. This is a full-time UCSF Neurosurgery Position with clinical duties at UCSF Medical Center (Parnassus) campus and/or our partner hospitals in California. Responsibilities include clinical service, research, and teaching residents and medical students. Candidate must possess an MD or MD/PhD. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $142,800 - $377,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
