Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the coordinator with activities required to keep them in operational compliance. Incumbent responsibilities generally include performing administrative support duties including but not limited to confidential employee, student and class data entry, preparing reports, compiling reports and basic correspondence, and administrative work necessary to support the program.

Minimum Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or equivalent and four (4) years experience or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

Licensing Requirements: N/A

Hiring Range: $33,105 - $41,381

Preferred Qualifications: - A minimum of two (2) years experience using Banner.
Demonstrated experience working in a direct student- or customer-focused position for a minimum of two (2) years.

Job Specific Task List:



  • Assists with preparing class paperwork and class and program file. - (Essential)
  • Provides complex specialized administrative support in preparing and processing confidential documents relating to students, staff and clients. - (Essential)
  • Assists with book requisitions for courses and programs with the HACC Campus Bookstores and their liaisons. - (Essential)
  • Facilitates the timely transfer of materials between instructors and campus testing centers for those students requiring the use of a campus testing center for proctored exams. - (Essential)
  • Assists with class scheduling based upon instructor availability to include room scheduling and searching available class locations. - (Essential)
  • Provides administrative support for course creation/cancellation, registration and billing. - (Essential)
  • Assists with preparations for healthcare advisory committees and healthcare industry summits to include preparation of correspondence, track responses, securing catering and room assignment(s). - (Essential)
  • Assists with preparations for instructor meetings to include preparing and tracking correspondence. - (Essential)
  • Follows up with telephone calls and emails to potential students. - (Essential)
  • Ensures timely completion of course packets after a course has completed to include grading, billing, instructor agreements, students evaluations, etc. - (Essential)
  • Submits supply and repair orders - (Essential)
  • Assists with the editing of documents on the HACC website. - (Essential)
  • Provides administrative and clerical assistance to the coordinator of various healthcare programs. - (Essential)
  • May organize and maintain supervisor's calendar, including meetings, travel, and project time lines; makes arrangements for meetings and/or events, schedules meetings and classrooms, as needed. - (Essential)
