Application Window Open date: March 15, 2024 Most recent review date: Monday, Sep 9, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Sep 15, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Division of Clinical General Dentistry - HS Clinical or Clinical X Series The University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences is seeking part- and full-time faculty members in the HS Clinical or Clinical X series (at the ranks of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) to support its teaching programs in clinical general dentistry. The appointment will be in the Department's Division of Clinical General Dentistry. UCSF is committed to the teaching and practice of minimally invasive dentistry and caries management by risk assessment. This role works closely with the Group Practice Leader and will be supporting and teaching in a group practice model. Primary duties will include clinical and pre-clinical teaching, including lecture, seminar and continuing education activities covering all areas of general dentistry including diagnosis, treatment planning, prevention, restorative, endodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics including implants, digital dentistry, and nonsurgical periodontics. The individuals selected must have U.S. DDS/DMD or an equivalent degree and must have current or be eligible for California dental licensure. At least three years of clinical dental experience is preferred. Previous predoctoral teaching experience is preferred. Academic series, rank, and salary level will be based on the successful applicant's experience.
