Courses may be offered in academic credit and non-credit options. Examples of Closely Related Fields: Becoming a credentialed teacher In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor is responsible for creating/updating a syllabus, holding weekly office hours (2 hours/week), and grading examinations and/or papers. Academic Year: 8/1/2024 - 7/31/2025 UC Merced Extension anticipates hiring multiple part-time instructors for the courses listed above throughout the academic year based on the course sections scheduled and/or planned.
