Application Window Open date: April 24, 2024 Most recent review date: Thursday, Oct 10, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Oct 24, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description University of California, San Francisco Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC) at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Medical Director of Quality and Safety at 75% effort to provide leadership, clinical administration, and oversight in the areas of quality and safety initiatives across the Cancer Center, Cancer Regional sites and Affiliates. The Medical Director will report to the UCSF Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Cancer Services and will work in close partnership with the UCSF HDFCCC Chief Operating Officer (COO). The Medical Director will consult regularly with the UCSF Chief Quality Officer to ensure that the services provided are in accord with the institution's mission, vision, values, and goals. Candidates must have an MD (or equivalent) degree and be Board certified in medicine, radiation oncology or a surgical specialty and preferably fellowship trained in Oncology. The Medical Director will be expected to provide leadership and oversight in the following areas: Quality initiatives across all Cancer Center Service Lines, Patient Safety initiatives across all Cancer Center Service Lines, and Enterprise Quality Support. The appointment will be made in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series at a rank compatible with the candidate's qualifications. Rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience. The minimum base salary range for this position is $121,100-$320,100.
