Shift: Day/PM shift with weekend and holiday rotation.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Hours Per Week: 40
Weekends: Some

The Pharmacist will work in an inpatient, acute care setting and be responsible for clinical and distributive activities, including order verification, medication reconciliation, pharmacokinetic dosing, clinical monitoring, team-based rounding, documentation, and teaching. The successful candidate can expect extensive collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, as well as students and residents. Pharmacists can expect to work primarily in 2-4 different therapeutic areas. Candidates with experience in hyperglycemia management, pain management, periprocedural management, psychiatry, geriatrics, oncology, and/or critical care will be given special consideration.

Requirements Include:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Current Wisconsin licensure as a pharmacist.
  • CPR and ACLS Certification.
  • Acute care Pharmacy Practice experience.

Preferred:
  • Completion of hospital-based Pharmacy Practice Residency and/or 3 years prior acute care Pharmacy practice experience.
  • Good-to-excellent knowledge of EPIC Willow Inpatient workflows and documentation.
