Do you want to make a difference in the lives of survivors of sex trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault? The Family Partnership is seeking a PRIDE Therapist to provide psychoeducational services and trauma-informed therapy to adult and youth survivors of sex trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault. The individuals we hope to work alongside as we tackle the necessary work of PRIDE therapy are unique, passionate, and intentional in their impact on our community. BENEFITS:
JOB SUMMARY: As part of the continuum of services offered by The Family Partnership's PRIDE program, this position provides psychoeducational services and trauma-informed therapy to adult and youth survivors of sex trafficking, domestic violence and sexual assault. To do so, the PRIDE Therapist implements harm reduction practices when working with clients and upholds the core beliefs of the PRIDE program, as created by survivors: 1) Prostitution is NOT a victimless crime; 2) A non-judgmental approach makes it easier to access services; 3) Everyone has a right to a life without violence; 4) Treatment and recovery looks different for everyone.
