Job Description
We are currently hiring a Culinary Lead at our Boston Taproom .
Creates world-class food to complement our world-class beers and spirits. Helps set the kitchen tempo in order to keep food orders flowing in an efficient, sanitary, and orderly manner which is of consistent appearance, quality, and taste. Upholds standards of kitchen and acts as lead during scheduled shift.
What You'll Brew:

  • Follows recipes in order to create food of consistent taste, quality, and presentation as well as monitors and corrects (if necessary) the execution of recipes by other coworkers during scheduled shifts
  • Ensures prep lists are completed and food is prepared in a timely manner
  • Ensures each station is set up and closed down properly, informs management team of any product shortages prior to start of service, and monitors and tastes products on the line ensuring accuracy and freshness
  • Enforces and adheres to all safety regulations as required by the position and the company's safety program
  • Enforces and adheres to all sanitation initiatives as required by the position and the company's sanitation program; ensures that all checklists are completed within prescribed timeframes
  • Provides continual job and process improvement by taking a collaborative, active role in individual and team success
  • Monitors flow of the kitchen and delegates daily tasks to all culinary staff to execute daily operations of the kitchen (including prep, culinary line, and dish)
  • Maintains expert knowledge of all kitchen stations and is able to work any area as needed
  • Adapts and makes necessary adjustments to production to ensure smooth kitchen operations each shift
  • Fosters positive working relationships and good communication both within the kitchen team as well as amongst other restaurant teams

What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years culinary experience
  • Availability to work Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-11pm (week nights 9pm)

Level: 8
In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe pay rate for this role if hired is $18 - $35 per hour.
