Your responsibilities
Job Summary The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and supports HRMS upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned. May act as a lead. Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide daily system administration for Workday Integrations and schedule monitoring.
  • Monitor, research and resolve problems with Workday. Provide recommendations and alternate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure appropriate parties are involved.
  • Support all aspects of new and existing interface integrations/EIBs to vendors/apps including monitoring recurring processes & interfaces to ensure successful execution.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday integrations at our company.
  • Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday Integrations.
  • Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle.
  • Develop new and modify existing HRIS integrations from Workday to internal and external clients using Workday technologies including PGP / SSH key management, calculated fields, custom reports, EIBs, Document Transformation, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services, etc.
  • Provide production support on Workday integrations, including addressing inquiries on the technology, processes, or user access to resolve issues.
  • Participate in walk-throughs which review integration changes, source code, and all technical supporting documentation, while providing feedback in accordance with department standards and guidelines.
  • Lead and participate in the review, testing and implementation of Workday releases; determine impact, participate in regression testing for new system features and communication of changes/benefits to end users.
  • Resolve issues in processes that may originate in ancillary HR systems including Time Keeping, Expense Reporting, Identity Management, Third Party Benefits administration, etc.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements in Workday platform including system configuration, maintenance updates and testing.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and data privacy standards are met through reviews, testing, change management, routine data audits and validation.
  • Identify and document functional and technical requirements, workflow detail, and information sources and systems specifications.
  • Manage support tickets ensuring thorough and timely work in the HR ticket tracking system
  • Actively utilize Workday support communities to identify best practices and issue resolutions

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience with Workday integrations required.
  • Workday Studio, Connector, EIB and Workday Custom Report integration development experience required.
  • Experience supporting Payroll and GL/General Ledger Interfaces strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical Workday concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous or incomplete requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to write clear documentation and workbooks for designs, project planning, and testing
  • Team player with excellent relationship building skills
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize and assess work in order to meet aggressive deadlines and cope in fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, and pivot tables) required
  • Demonstrated technical, research and analytical aptitude, report writing and the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and report findings
  • Demonstrated flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to be on call for production support issues after hours
