Syngenta is seeking aPipeline Tool Developer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and robust analytical tools enabling product advancement and placement for Vegetables & Flowers Seeds Development, Syngenta.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines to support the development and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytics.
  • Implementing infrastructure as code and automating and streamlining data operations with a focus on cloud-based data processing.
  • Designing and developing end-to-end analytical pipeline.
  • Supporting user interface development for web-based applications to enable data visualization.
  • Implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Building application containerization and orchestration within a cloud environment.
  • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of deployed models by implementing best practices for logging, monitoring, and error handling to triage issues.
  • Managing software deployment and configuration in non-production and production environments.

Qualifications

Critical Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of post-academic working experience in software development.
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Experience with big data technologies, e.g., Snowflake, Apache Airflow, dbt, etc.
  • Experience with cloud-based services, DevOps concepts, and software development.
  • Experience with API technologies (e.g. RESTful APIs or GraphQL)
  • Experience with standard concepts and technologies used in CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
  • Proficiency in developing cloud-native applications and deploying to cloud environments, particularly AWS.
  • Experience with developing data models and data pipelines

Desirable Experience

  • At least 5 years of post-academic working experience in software development.
  • Experience in designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
