You have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or similar field, or related experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related role for at least 12 years including 8 years of project or contract development/management experience and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:



  • Broad nuclear industry knowledge of design, operations, services, fuel, procurement and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations, development of scope of supply, and terms and conditions
  • Extensive experience in cultivating and managing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with major project plan development, implementation and administration
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to develop business case financial and risk evaluation models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management

As a Contract Manager in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:



  • Works with legal, sales and associated Business Units to develop contracts, plans and schedules within corporate guidelines.
  • Communicates with proper channels to ensure contracts are developed within corporate guidelines & objectives.
  • Works with project management on contract structure, T&Cs, and execution input during negotiations.
  • Supports contract management with contract interpretation/intent discussions during contract execution
  • Provides leadership and oversight to major opportunity pursuit including proposal development (as needed) to meet overall Business Development objectives; provides direction to less experienced staff, as needed.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $110,000 - $149,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
