Starkey is hiring a Sr. Manager Business Intelligence - Enterprise Analytics on it's Starkey Data Excellence Team at it's global headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN. Are you a Sr Manager with experience in Enterprise Business Analytics and have a strong sales background in manufacturing? We are looking for someone that is passionate about connecting the dots and in the know about market and business trends. In this position you would lead the organization in the transformation of its analytic capabilities. Accountable for setting the strategy and implementing the delivery of business reporting and data analytics to aid in better business insights and decision making.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS



  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data. Transform analyses into concrete, actionable recommendation Utilize data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Starkey's business model, products, market, and emerging business priorities and capabilities
  • Act as thought leader for the use of data and analytics to drive critical business decisions, business strategy and product management activities
  • Understand and synthesize complex data into executive summarize Understand the operational metrics and key performance indicators used in making business decisions.
  • Work closely with managers and subject matter experts to identify user
  • Act a business lead for database and data provisioning projects
  • Support IT in new data integration by providing database and platform requirements. Support business by ensuring appropriate data is available and consumable according to requirements.
  • Act as lead in developing multi-source data architecture and analytics procedures and provide hands on technical know-how to address business
  • Research issues and troubleshoot that may destabilize data or impact its integrity
  • Create high performing employees and teams


o Recruit to attract best talent
o Make hiring and termination decisions
o Manage performance including compensation decisions
o Utilize HRIS system management access
o Coach and mentor employees, hold regular one on one meetings
o Hold regular staff meetings
o Establish clear and concise employee and departmental goals and objectives, aligned with
business unit and company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements
Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or Statistics or equivalent work experience


Experience



  • 8 years' work experience in data analytics or business intelligence
  • Experience with ERP, CRM and DW data structures
  • 5- 7 years management experience required


Knowledge / Technical Requirements



  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation technique
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (SAS, R, Python, SPSS, et)

  • Skilled with data analysis, data extraction, dimensional modeling, predictive modeling, data visualization and reporting & analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting finding
  • Thrive in a high performance, fast-paced, environment
  • Balance multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines with limited supervision
  • Proven thought leadership skills, including the ability to be innovative and be able to driven results both as an individual and team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
  • Excellent people skills desirable
  • Excellent communication skills desirable
  • Effective public speaker
