Summary: Responsibilities: Other information: Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Current nursing license master*s degree in nursing and certification as a Clinical Specialist by the American Nurse*s Credentialing Center. Must meet the state*s requirement for an initial 30 hours of pharmacology of psycyhotropic medication then must complete NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to provide own reliable transportation. Maintain valid driver*s license at all times. Ability to adhere to C.D.C. guidelines for disease and infection control. JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY: Ability to read analyze and interpret professional journals policies & procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from professionals managers clients family and the general public. Ability to clearly and cogently document clinical information in accordance with GHI P&P. Ability to write reports and general correspondence. Ability to analyze client and system information identify problems establish facts and draw valid conclusions develop options and strategies for resolving problems monitor implementation and evaluate the problem solving process for effectiveness. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables concurrently. Ability to successfully complete all required training and certifications Oral and written communication skills including speech grammar spelling and legibility are at sufficient level to ensure effective and appropriate communication. Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals either manually or by use of a calculator.
