We're actively seeking a self-driven, creative, investigative Change Managment Practitioner to join our Enterprise Change Management team in Omaha, NE or Newport Beach, CA (hybrid work schedule).

Change Practitioners generally partner closely with senior business leaders, Human Resources, Internal Communications, and Enterprise Program Office team members.

As a Change Management Practitioner, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by supporting our Finance and Actuarial functions through transformational and/or strategic change initiatives. Your colleagues will include other Change Management team members, HRBPs, Organizational Development team, Internal Communications, Enterprise Program Office, and more.

How you will make an impact:

Networking and Influencing

  • Build critical partnerships and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including strong relationships with initiative sponsors.

  • Influence the successful implementation of the full suite of change management plans and tools developed by the Enterprise Change Management team.

  • Identify and utilize networks of key influencers to promote quicker adoption.

  • Advocate for and drive change management best practices within organization.

Change Management Core Responsibilities

  • Specific initiative deliverables/work products include but are not limited to:

    • Case for Change and Sponsor Assessments

    • Change Risk and Readiness Assessments

    • Stakeholder Analysis

    • Change Impact Analysis (including from-to behavior identification)

    • Measurement Strategy and Plan (including defining/measuring success metrics and monitoring adoption progress post go-live)

    • Resistance Management Plan

    • Change Training Assessment

    • Communications Plan (in partnership with Internal Communications to develop customized change messaging that is clear, compelling, and consistent to drive awareness, excitement and advocacy for various audiences; ensure leaders are equipped with tools to deliver customized communications; ensure messaging content and timing is aligned with complementary initiatives.)

  • Demonstrate a strategic vision that connects initiatives and work to continually align the changing business needs.

  • Evaluate, measure, and manage stakeholder readiness to drive speed of adoption and achieve business ROI.

  • Proactively engage with the initiative's sponsors and senior leaders to coach and consult.

  • Partner closely with HRBPs and Organizational Development team (as part of "HR Tiger Team") to best support the business and talent strategies.

  • Partner with initiative program or project members to integrate change management activities into project plans; promote the use of change enablement tools and processes; drive change strategy effectiveness while minimizing disruption.

  • Apply our Enterprise Change Management team's structured methodology, toolkit, tools, and processes to drive quantifiable impact aligned to business strategies and objectives.

  • You display a clear growth mindset that enables you to adapt and grow, while also recognizing your areas of development.

  • You have strong experience and unique approaches to defining what affected audience groups require in order to transition from a current to future state.

  • You have a proven ability to coach, influence, and persuade senior executive leaders to be effective sponsors.

  • You have significant experience with large scale, complex organizational change efforts supported by measurable key achievements.

  • You are a self-starter who can consistently manage up, is well organized, can effectively execute on time with minimal guidance, and deliver quality change management artifacts using our tools.

  • You actively listen in order to document and assess current state.

  • You are exceptional at connecting strategic dots and dependencies across multiple change initiatives.

  • You creatively solution using forward-thinking change tactics that anticipate future corporate landscape, and minimize disruption to the business units.

  • You act like an "investigative reporter," proactively interviewing to uncover the real answers to what, why, how, and when throughout the course of an entire change effort. There are always new questions to ask as the environment continues to change.

  • You are resilient in the face of multiple changes and transformations that affect you personally.

  • You are data-driven and analytical, because you know that without a measurement plan that is based on behaviors, you can't quantify change impacts.

  • You are able to persuade mindset shifts in difficult stakeholders.

  • You can adapt rapidly to new developments and changing priorities.

  • You are Prosci certified.

  • You have experience in the Insurance, Finance, and/or Actuarial space.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$131,040.00 - $160,160.00
