Responsibilities

GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts located in Orlando, FL. The Data Analyst will work on a team with data product owners, data engineers, and BI developers to deliver high quality, value-adding data products to the enterprise.

    To facilitate the goals of the data product team, you will uncover, analyze, and document insights using SQL, Python, and/or other BI tools as necessary
  • Complete data quality analyses including data profiling, identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
  • Optimize existing SQL queries and Python Scripts as necessary
  • Partner with business stakeholders and translate those business needs into clear and concise technical specifications for data engineering and/or application engineer needs to deliver value
  • Create reports, presentations, and communicate to wide audience about data
  • Assist the data product team with data governance activities


Qualifications

  • Expertise with SQL, Python, and Excel
  • Strong verbal, written, and visualization skills
  • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation
  • Proficiency in statistics and mathematics
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Big Query, Looker Studio, Looker Pro)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team-working skills
  • Must be available to work onsite in Orlando, FL
