The Department of Otolaryngology at University Hospitals (UH) Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a full time BC/BE fellowship trained Otology-Neurotology candidate to join the full time faculty. As part of our affiliation, UH physicians serve as faculty of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. In this supported position, the candidate will be involved in performing the full breadth of otology and neurotology at UH, with surgical set up to perform microscopic and endoscopic approaches, and clinical setup to treat advanced vestibular disorders. The candidates will join one the busiest cochlear implant programs in the region, recently designated as a Center of Excellence with an annual growth of 30%, and significant opportunities for research and clinical expansion. In addition, the candidate will participate in a mature and state-of-the- art lateral skull base practice, where all surgical approaches and all stereotactic radiation modalities are available within the institution. The Department currently has needs for expansion with the addition of a faculty member at the level of assistant or associate professor. Interested candidates should possess a strong commitment to clinical practice, as well as research and resident education.

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing ENT department, currently consisting of over 60 providers, and 30 audiologists. The hearing research group in the department consists of 4 NIH funded PhD researchers with well-established labs and vast opportunity for collaboration and mentorship. The Department has robust clinical training, and research programs at multiple sites. We have a diverse, engaged faculty involved nationally and internationally in research and quality outcomes projects. Clinical opportunities are available at tertiary academic center, regional offices and surgery center locations throughout Northeastern Ohio through the University Hospitals Healthcare System.
