Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a full-time fellowship trained breast imaging radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in breast imaging, to join our collaborative team of breast imagers at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor on the CHS (Clinical Health Sciences) Track or CT (Clinician Teacher) Track. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and function as a team player within the group of breast radiologists providing breast screening, diagnostic and procedural imaging services across UW Health. Responsibilities: CHS Track - The candidate filling this position will be specifically chosen for their expertise and fellowship training in breast imaging. The duties include breast imaging, including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, image-guided localizations, and image-guided breast biopsies, and scholarly activity in administration/ operations, education and research. The successful candidate is expected to develop areas of interest. Departmental teaching expectations and opportunities include medical student, resident and fellow education. Clinical, outcomes, translations, or basic science research opportunities are available and supported with Departmental and Institutional research infrastructure. Interest in breast imaging fellowship program development is a plus. Academic time is provided to support development of the candidate's interests and scholarly activities.
