Position Summary
**WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION FROM ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF WORK STUDY AWARD**
We are looking for students be part of the research team to assist the Transformation Network on community-based initiatives on a variety of topics ranging from watershed heath to indigenous food sovereignty. Transformation Network is a National Science Foundation funded Sustainable Regional Systems a partnership between eight Western U.S. universities with over 50 partner organizations representing Tribal partners, governmental and non-governmental organizations. Its goal is to build capacity for adaptations and guided transformations towards sustainable regional systems through innovative and equitable solutions.

Responsibilities include:

* Assist with research tasks, including field work, as needed based on the demands of assigned project.

* Willingness to learn some basic software, an ability to type well, excellent attention to detail.

* Work with various members of the research group, including other undergraduate researchers, graduate researchers, and the Project Investigators (PIs).

* Meet with the PIs and other members of the team, as needed, and check and respond to email on a consistent basis.

* The students will also gain an understanding of interview research methods and environmental social science research in general.

Minimum qualifications:

* Ability to work independently and in teams.

* Ability to meet in person and via Zoom for regular scheduled meetings

* Excellent writing and communication skills.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Access to a computer
