Overview

As a Fullstack Developer and Senior Engineer in Level One Control and Surveillance, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand the Business requirements, create and implement solutions, and manage existing production applications. You will work in an agile development environment along with many other teams to enable the Bank's non-financial risk functions. You will have the opportunity to solve complex issues relating to data ingestion and data residency.

What You'll Do

  • Participate or lead the collection of business requirements and contribute materially to the development of functional design; Participate in the project delivery from requirements to production deployment

  • Development of source code for front to back software components using Angular, React, Java, Python, Scala, Oracle etc

  • Designs and implements automated testing scripts to support continuous build and deployment

  • Build hybrid solutions which can process the data on-prem as well as on cloud (GCP)

  • Supports release deployments into controlled environments

  • You will mentor junior team members and learn new technology to implement the solutions

How You'll Lead

  • You will participate in business meetings with Supervision, Business Managers, and Business execution teams to collect the Business requirement

  • You will manage the user acceptance test and collect the sign-off from business to promote business functions to production

  • You will coordinate with different technical team to define integration patterns to create end to end solution

Skills You'll Need

  • Experience in supervision and regulatory technology, Moderate experience working on BPM engines like Activiti and Camunda, Moderate experience working with Java and Python (Java Preferred)

  • Moderate experience in writing Structured Query Language (SQL) query using relational databases

  • Moderate experience in creating user interface using Angular or React

  • Moderate experience in agile development, Moderate years' experience in behavior driven development (or design) (BDD) using Karate or Cucumber frameworks

  • Experience in building cloud native applications

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Graduate Degree in technical discipline (Computer Science preferred) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent work experience)

  • Good understanding of Data Structures, Design Patterns & Frameworks

  • Exposure to Spark/Hadoop tech stack would be huge plus

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
