Role: OFFICE SERVICES ANALYST

Duration: 2 months

Location: Jericho, NY ONSITE

Hours: normal business hours, full time

Job description:

POSITION SUMMARY

In this position, you will pick-up and deliver mail according to established schedules, maintain inventory of all mailroom and general office supplies including replenishment of funds to postage meter. You will support department initiatives in the maintenance of copiers, shredding of confidential material and archiving of Bank Operations documents.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

Sorts all incoming mail and Banking Center work, identifying and delivering improperly addressed mail.

Interacting with vendors and partners including FedEx, US Government Client, courier vendor or appropriate Banking Center/Corporate Office location if required.

Process all outgoing mail through postage meter using proper postage and other mail delivery services.

Ensure receipts are received for any certified mail.

Maintain proper supply inventories for mailroom and other areas of Bank Operations as requested.

Follow mailroom schedule of deliveries for all mail including FedEx, US Government Client, and courier services.

Maintain tracking logs for all accountable mail including but not limited to FedEx, Certified, and all other overnight couriers..

Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Operate mail folder and inserter equipment as needed.

Maintain all confidentiality mandates, standards, and practices as outlined in Webster Bank policies and procedures

Appropriately report and escalate any risk, confidentiality, or security issues to your manager.

Timely completion of required compliance and security training.

May be asked to back up other roles within Bank Operations during peak volumes.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

High School diploma or GED is required, however candidates with an Associate s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Previous experience utilizing mailroom machines and equipment preferred.

High attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Good Organization Skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver s license with a demonstrated record of safe driving or have the ability to report to work in several New York Metro area Webster Bank locations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, standing for long periods of time, stooping, kneeling crouching and balancing. Repeating the same movements and bending or twisting of their body. Occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

- Short term, around 2 months to cover for an FMLA leave.
